When chartering, a logbook helps you prepare a sailing CV and support it with recorded experience. Some operators also assess an experienced second crew member: your documented experience can support the assessment of your skipper’s charter application.
Ask the skipper or instructor to confirm entries. Each operator decides which evidence it accepts; a logbook does not replace a qualification or licence.
